It’s coming up to that time of the year where we all remember the sacrifices that were made for our freedom during World War 1. It’s now over 100 years since the end of World War 1 however Armistice Day has always been an important day for Richmond Taxis and we’ve always tried to do something special during this time. This year, we’ve decided to offer FREE TRAVEL SERVICES to any armed forces personnel (both serving and veterans) within South Tyneside on Sunday 10th November and Monday 11th November, on Armistice day and the day after. The offer will also be available to customers of our sister-company, LA Taxis, who provide taxi services in Newcastle and Gateshead.
As well as this, we will be offering any former or serving army personnel a set 10% off all your metered rides in future!

Richmond Taxis has been associated with the armed forces for decades now and we have been particularly close to the Royal British Legion in recent years. We will be proud to be at the forefront of remembrance on Armistice Day.
